There is so much to love about Fall. I love the cozy sweaters and everything leather. I love the smell of pumpkin spiced pie while snuggling up on the couch watching movies. Most of all, I love the fiery autumnal landscapes. Fall is such a romantic season.
A must on my Fall to-do list is to update our home décor. As much as I miss the colorful florals Summer has to offer, I’m excited to refresh our furnishings with this season’s warm and earthy blooms, and, of course, cute-as-a-button mini pumpkins for the dining table. I had a fabulous time arranging this small tabletop arrangement from fresh stems I picked up from the local florist.
Another way I’ll be bringing Fall into our home is by infusing it with autumnal scents. This season always reminds me of warm vanilla, apple cinnamon, and sugary spices. While candles are a great way to infuse the home with scent, I decided to try Glade’s Wax Melts Warmer and Wax Melts Refills as an alternative prior to our mini dinner party. I was intrigued by the mess-free and long-lasting fragrance experience it promised.
The warm vanilla scent was perfect and brought such an inviting atmosphere to our house just in time for our guests to arrive!
The Wax Melt Warmer
The decorative warmer comes in two pieces, with a base and dish to hold the wax melt refills. To use, all I had to do was plug the unit in, turn the switch (there is also an indicator light) and place one refill cube onto the dish. (Be careful not to touch the heat plate while it’s on, it’s quite hot!) I walked away while the cube was melting and about ten minutes later, I began to smell the warm, cozy vanilla scent creep from the first level to the second level of my house. It was decadent!
The Wax Melts Refill
Each pack of Wax Melts Refill comes with 8 melts. It is recommended to only use one melt at a time and each pack offers up to 96 hours of scent. I tried the Pure Vanilla Joy option and next on my list is most certainly Apple Cinnamon.
The melts contain high quality essential oils and are dry to the touch, preventing greasy or oily hands. Each melt also keeps a consistent fragrance throughout its lifetime and lingers after the wax warmer is turned off.
Now that I’ve got our house covered in terms of Fall updates, I also got a head start updating my Fall wardrobe! I love seeing this season’s fur and leather trimmed details, and also the continuing trend of added embellishments.
