Hello! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I’m a big fan of getting crafty during this time of the year. Inspired by a few cheeky sweatshirts I saw over the last couple of weeks, I decided to flex my DIY muscles and create a matching DIY Valentine’s Sweats Set of my own. Whether you’re in the mood to create a matching set for yourself or a pair of matching sweatshirts for you and your loved ones (or these would be so cute on a little one!), I guarantee, these are not only fun but super comfortable.
I picked up a Joe Fresh sweatshirt and a pair of slim track pant and went right to the drawing board. After contemplating between several quirky statements – “OWL LOVE YOU“, “LOVERS LOVE“, “A LATTE LOVE“, I found the winner. I used the exact same technique as this past sweatshirt tutorial, but added an extra punch with a mini sequined heart.
Any crafty plans this Valentine’s Day?
- Matching sweatshirt and pant
- Letter iron-on transfers
- Iron
- Scissors
- Cloth/Towel
- Optional: Sequins trim and Jewel Glue
Follow the instructions on the iron-on transfer package and off you go!
Celebrating or not, I hope you spend your Valentine’s Day with a couple of cozy sweats!
