How many of you love to flip through old photo albums from time to time? I know I do! I visited my parents over the holiday season and they seriously must have hundreds and hundreds of printed photos tucked away neatly on their shelves. I love perusing through them, especially pictures of them when they were young, and those of my sister and I when we were little wee ones. It is incredible how a camera can capture so many precious memories for us.
Now, unlike the world of digital photography, these amazing old photos are far less accessible as they were likely taken with a 35mm camera (remember those negative strips?!). This poses a challenge when it comes to sharing on social media, emailing to family and friends, or simply to preserve and keep safe.
I was thrilled to hear about the BLACKS Shoebox Service, which scans and creates digital copies of old photos, slides, negatives, Digital8 tapes & 8mm film (up to 300 prints/slides/negatives). It does all the leg work for you, so naturally, I had to give it a try.
