I guess Winter decided to visit afterall! We spent our Valentine’s Day weekend in Ottawa with friends outdoors, braving the -40 degree weather with layer upon layer of thermal wear. When we returned to the city, I couldn’t wait to get out of my bulky parka and winter boots covered with salt stains! I swapped my less than attractive winter gear with my newly acquired Fjällräven Keb Loft Jacket which is lightweight, yet durable and highly insulated and functional. Layered on top of a knit sweater and leather vest, this jacket is the perfect companion for a wet, slightly milder winter day without compromising fit and style.
Kyle thought I was wild to wear my fancy tied red shoes out in the cold, but really, I couldn’t resist them and had to sport them to our special movie date on Family Day, afterall, we were visiting the VIP theaters for the first time! Little did he know, I did managed to tuck away a pair of extra warm booties in my iconic Fjällräven Kanken No. 2 backpack, which by the way can fit just about anything, including my laptop. The main compartment has a generous opening that makes it easy to pack and take things out. My boots tucked beautifully within this day pack which can be worn using the top leather handles or as a traditional backpack using its convertible straps.
Wearing: Fjällräven Keb Loft Jacket c/o / Fjällräven Kanken No. 2 backpack c/o / Shoes c/o Le Chateau (also comes in beige and black for under $70!) / Pants c/o Joe Fresh / Blanket Scarf
I hope winter doesn’t stick around for all too long, in the meantime, I’ll be staying warm in my Fjällräven gear!

I like this backpack!
I don’t know how you do it, but you managed to pull of the strappy shoes in the middle of winter!
