Hello! Here’s my second DIY guest post for Girls of T.O. Today, I’m going to take you to a very gold and glittery place. Christmas is the best time to bring out the glitter and sparkles. What better way to get festive then to incorporate a shiney thing or two into your holiday wardrobe?

Hi, I'm Natalie! Thanks for stopping by my DIY and Lifestyle blog. I hope you find many inspirations and ideas to elevate your daily life!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Stella and Dot. I was first introduced to the brand while attending a small event in Toronto, where one of the ladies had someone from Stella and Dot host a trunk show. Since then, I’ve hosted a trunk show myself, it is so much fun to gather the ladies together, sip on some bubbly and get our shop on. The best time of the year to do that is just before the holiday season.
Home Decor :: Christmas Decor (Guest Blogging with This Beautiful Day)
I’m ecstatic to be guest blogging on This Beautiful Day today! This blog post is also quite meaningful to me because it’s the first time I’m sharing photos or our new home.
HoliDIY :: Christmas Tree Burlap Bunting Garland (with Girls of T.O.)
Today, I’m guest blogging for Girls of T.O.! I was so thrilled when Dani asked me to take part in a mini series of Christmas DIY for Girls of T.O. This is the first of three DIY’s that I’ll be sharing with you, I hope you like them and will give them a try!
TGIF Lovelies! Yes, the Christmas season is certainly upon us! The most exciting time of the year because I get an extra excuse to DIY and craft excessively, lol! Starting you off, nice and easy, today’s HoliDIY is really simple. I’ve been looking for ways to add artwork into my home this holiday season, inspired by the gold glittery thingsmg I’ve be seeing, I decided to DIY a Glitter “Merry” Canvas.
Happy Monday Lovelies! I’m excited to share these photos with you! A couple of weeks back, I had the best time with Manitobah Mukluk and Lotus Leaf Style, shooting some street style photos with the amazing Jenna Marie Wakani (photographer at Refinery29).
I decided to inject some bright cobalt blue to my outfit (cocoon coat here, purse here) while wearing the most comfortable and luxe winter boots – Kanada Boots in black, made in Canada and retail for $299. This is the second pair of Manitobah Mukluk’s I own and I can’t tell you how comfortable their boots are. I especially love the suede and bead work on these boots. The extra addition of rabbit fur that trims around the boots is also an added touch of glam, which I thoroughly adore. If you’re still looking for that perfect Christmas gift for someone that loves lounging in comfort and style, I highly recommend these!
The holiday season – it truly is the best time of the year. There is something magical about the festive season despite the cold! Aside from shopping for gifts (and shopping for myself), another to-do for this holiday season is to dress our new home with a bundle of holiday spirit. The BF plans on taking me tree shopping this year, which I’m super excited about. This was never a tradition in my family, but certainly one that we want to start for ours!
I would describe my holiday home décor style as “Country Chic”. I love infusing a tinge of country and vintage vibe into our home at any time of the year. It makes an urban home feel warm and cozy. To achieve the “Country Chic” vibe, consider a few of these items: a fur or chenille throw; birch wrapped candles or knitted candles; a large vintage or handmade sign and a wooden or slate cheese board.
Baseball caps are a great addition to your fall wardrobe (also a great way to hide a bad hair day). By adding a handful of rhinestones, it can even become the centerpiece of your outfit. Head on over to SheKnows to see my latest DIY project!
This project is one of those simple things you can do to add some glam and glitz to ordinary fall fashion without breaking the bank.
