I love living in soft and lightweight fabrics this time of the year, when the sticky humid weather finally starts to level off making it just perfect for comfortable materials such as linen and buttery soft denim. The combination is great for transitional weather as we head into ‘back to school’ season.

Lifestyle :: Framed Photos Made Easy with Fujifilm X-T100
As a blogger, the ability to tell a captivating visual story is probably one of the most important aspects of my work. Whether I’m sharing step by step instructions for a DIY project, before and afters of my latest home renovation, or documenting my recent travels, photography is key. I’m often asked where I find ideas for my next projects, the truth is, inspiration can come from any place, any time, many times when you least expect it. That’s why I like to take my camera everywhere I go because I don’t want to miss an opportunity to capture an image that is frame-worthy!
Food & Drink :: Summer Girls Night Entertaining Ideas
Do you prefer a Girls Night In or a Girls Night Out?
Back in my twenties, I’d make any excuse to have a Girl’s Night Out. I loved getting dolled up and heading out to the latest hot spot in the city. But my, have times changed! Finding a date to hang out with the girls has become a challenge in itself due to busy schedules and competing priorities. When we finally manage to set a date, I much prefer a Girl’s Night In, where we can sit back and catch up over yummy food and drinks, without having to worry about waiting in long line ups or last call!
Lifestyle :: Fun (and Effective) Workouts to Try {and a $1000 Giveaway!}
We are all #BornToMove. But why do we spend most of our time, sitting, standing still, or laying on the couch?!
I was thrilled when I was approached by Dr. Scholl’s a few weeks ago to participate in the #BornToMove campaign to encourage fellow Canadians to bring movement and exercise back to their day-to-day activity. Because after all, us humans are the most happy and free when we’re running, playing, jumping, and getting that adrenaline streaming through our veins, don’t you agree?!
Want to be everyone’s favourite house guest this Summer?!
If you’ve ever thrown a party of your own, you know just how much work it takes to prepare all the food, get the house cleaned, and stocking up the fridge and bar with plenty of refreshments in time for your friends to arrive. Well, on your next invite to a BBQ or house party, make sure you bring the hostess (or host) a little gift of thanks, so that they too, can sit back, enjoy an iced-cold adult beverage and have a good time!
Worrying about wrinkles, loss of volume and skin elasticity used to feel lights years away. But did you know beginning in your mid-twenties, your skin starts to loose that bouncy, plumpy feeling and once you hit the bit 3-0, aging skin concerns continue to progress, rapidly.
What’s more refreshing than an iced coffee to kick off a hot summer day you ask? A Coffee Iced Pop of course!
Since the launch of Nespresso On-Ice capsules, I’ve been conjuring interesting ways to enjoy them. I recently acquired a set of vintage style ice pop molds and figured out that while iced coffee is already awesome as is, freezing it then dunking them into a glass of milk, is ever so yummy! Plus, they just look so darn cute and perfect for parties!
DIY :: Pom Pom Coasters and {Henry’s Hard Soda} Orange Ice Cream Float
Summer is just around the corner and I’m ready for some outdoor entertaining!
Since we live close by the beach, inviting friends over for food and refreshments after a day long in the sand has got to be one of our favourite weekend rituals during the Summer. Ever since moving slightly further from the city, I much prefer laid back nights at home. But just because we don’t desire partying all night long these days doesn’t mean we don’t want to have a good time, whipping up delicious bbq marinades and concocting a few specialty cocktails for our guests is my idea of a good time!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a beauty round up! I’ve tried so many new products over the last few months and I’m thrilled to share some that have managed to find its way to a permanent spot on my shelf!
Ready to discover my beauty selection just in time for the official start of Summer?!
Every year when the cherry blossoms make an appearance, I beat myself up for NOT making the trek to High Park in Toronto for some beautiful snaps. The truth is, I’m just not all that into crowds nor thrilled about having to get up at 5 am for that perfect shot.
