J.Crew just released their Spring/Summer 2013 Lookbook and I absolutely can’t wait until the spring weather hit (though today seems quite like it).

Hi, I'm Natalie! Thanks for stopping by my DIY and Lifestyle blog. I hope you find many inspirations and ideas to elevate your daily life!
Another DIY project inspired by one of my favourites – Anthropologie (see my last Anthro inspired DIY Heart Print Jean project). I saw this Sparkling Strands Wrap Watch and I had to try it myself! I also liked the fact that I was able to refashion my old watch that I haven’t worn in years, a great way to update one you already have tucked away.
If you’re looking to get crafty today but don’t want to spend a ton of time on a DIY project, why not try this Express DIY project? This project takes less then 10 minutes to do and require very little instructions!
Style Tip :: What to Wear with your DIY Heart Print Jean
Thought I’d start the weekend off with this “What to Wear With” post around my most favourited DIY project of the year – DIY Heart Print Jean. Thanks so much for all of your comments on that project and I’m so glad to hear that some of you tried it out on your own and also some of the suggestions you’ve sent over. I’ve put together a few inspirations for your when sporting your on DIY Heart Print Jean – perhaps on date night this weekend? Or on an upcoming Valentine’s Day event? Either way, I hope you enjoy!
Surprise, Surprise, a Beauty Surprise :: GLOSSYBOX Review and Giveaway
Happy Hump Day! Boy am I glad we got Blue Monday out of the way, I must say January is not exactly the most exciting month. It is the third week of the year and I’m already “catchin up”! I can’t complain though, being busy is a blessing 🙂
To brighten up your week, I’m pleased to be running this giveaway with GLOSSYBOX Canada.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I had an uneventful one, but did manage to go on a mini shopping spree at J.Crew (I picked up 7 items at 60% off!). I want to thank everyone for their wonderful comments on my last DIY project – heart print jeans. Everyone loved them and many great opportunities came out of it. I hope to bring you more great DIY project this year, so please continue to check back.
Global warming hit Toronto this past weekend, warm enough to leave my coat behind! We paid a visit to the St. Lawrence Farmer’s Market, picked up some fresh farm eggs, breakfast sausages, and apple cider (yum!). It was a perfect Saturday.
In my post a couple of weeks back, I introduced KayTran Eyewear and their special L.B.T. model – made to fit! I decided to take my second pair (thanks Kathy!) of KayTran sunglasses, Celine in Rosegold and Tortoise out with me for a spin. Once again, perfect fit, I didn’t have to do any adjustments and didn’t touch my face, they were extremly comfortable.
Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I thought I’d start the week off with this cute DIY to add to your closet. I stopped into Anthropolgie a few weeks ago and saw this pair of super cute heart printed jeans by AG Stevie. So I decided to try it myself. I am extremely happy with the results and they looked even better on!
While the weather is easing up in Toronto this weekend (it’s suppose to climb up into double digits!), I might exercise my right to wear winter whites. Typically I find it highly impractical to wear white bottoms in the slushy weather, but soft white on white combo’s are just too pretty to pass up.
Want to refresh your winter wardrobe without breaking your piggy bank? Why not take some of your existing coats and give it a new look instead? I’ve accumulated so many coats over the last few years, unless they’re classic, timeless pieces, I’m going to work on refashioning a few pieces.
Here are 5 easy ways to update your winter coats!
