With Halloween just around the corner, what are you dressing up as? I won’t be partaking in Halloween this year (first year in awhile!) due to a busy travel and work schedule, but that didn’t stop me from creating something for Halloween! I decided to make my expecting sister a maternity shirt for her Trick or Treat night out this year. It was so much fun making this shirt, partly because I’m super excited to meet my baby nephew.

Hi, I'm Natalie! Thanks for stopping by my DIY and Lifestyle blog. I hope you find many inspirations and ideas to elevate your daily life!
Since I’ve been introduced to sailing this summer, I’ve been crazy about anything strips and just about everything with an anchor on it. I came across this tank from jcrew which I love but sold out by the time I went to buy it, so I decided to tackle my own version but also making it fall friendly. Style Eh? is a series dedicated to spreading the news of beloved Canadian brands. This post is dedicated to Roots Canada (also available in USA and internationally). Roots was born in 1973 inspired by the Algonquin Park and everything it represented. I grew up wearing Roots sweatshirts as a child and have always known that brand by its beaver logo and printed sweats. However, having recently revisited Roots, I’m going gaga over their lifestyle items for this winter season and their awesome leather collections. Roots is definitely going to be my staple this winter while sipping on some hot chocolate at the cabin during the Christmas season. I can’t wait to cozy up in their comfy knits and sweats (something to look forward believe it or not!) Check out some of my personal favourites below!
I am a big fan of army print and military green. When I saw those favourite patterns and colours embellished with sparkly things, my eyes twinkled. I was uber excited. Once again, a stop into my favorite store Zara, had my DIY radar going off – I was inspired by this and this version. So I decided to take my own spin to my army green military jacket.
I am super crazy about embellishments and jeweled items this fall/winter. When I saw the many embellished clothing and accessories that Zara was carrying, I couldn’t resist but to try it out at home. I adore these leather gloves currently at Zara.
Lightweight sweaters are my staples during the fall season. The weather during this time of the year in Toronto is very unpredictable, lightweight sweaters are great for layering and perfect on its own. After seeing this ASOS version and inspired by this DIY version from HonestlyWTF, I decided to tackle a version of my own with this season’s favourite burgundy plum color.
