Baseball caps are a great addition to your fall wardrobe (also a great way to hide a bad hair day). By adding a handful of rhinestones, it can even become the centerpiece of your outfit. Head on over to SheKnows to see my latest DIY project!
This project is one of those simple things you can do to add some glam and glitz to ordinary fall fashion without breaking the bank.
Halloween is just a day away! If you want to add that extra sparkle to your outfit, here is a SUPER quick Halloween Nail Art tutorial for you! I’ve always…
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! It was Canadian Thanksgiving this past weekend. I had such a wonderful time with our families, enjoying great food and great company. There is absolutely so much to be thankful for in life. I’m particularly thankful for the people around me that make my life an amazing one to live. Though my long weekend got cut short due to business travel plans, but nonetheless, it was a great one.
Hello! A super cute DIY to share with you today. I was inspired after seeing these clutches by Urania Gazelli. So off to the dollar store I went and picked up a couple of wooden boxes of varying size. As for the rest of the materials, I already had at home. These box clutches can be used as a small handbag or you can also use them as a personalized gift box or to store small jewelry items on your vanity. Regardless of which option, they are just super cute to add to the closet or home accessories.
TGIF (even though its Friday the 13th!)! I’ve been feeling a little under the weather lately and glad to finally regain some of my energy. I’ve been cozying up with a sweatshirt on the couch the last few days and reminded me of the screen printed word/phrase tees and sweatshirts (see this and this) I’ve been swooning over lately. Of course, that got my DIY juices flowing and couldn’t resist but to create my own.
Last week I shared my DIY Skort inspiration. I absolutely adore the infamous skort that Zara (similar here) came up with spring/summer season and snatched a pair as soon as I got a the chance. I wish I could stack them up in my closet in every colour and print, unfortunately the selection is slim to none.
Therefore, I decided to DIY a pair by using a floral silk scarf I bought from H&M for $12.95 months ago (I was determined to use it for a DIY project!). I love the result of it! The beauty is, you can pretty much use any fabric you have for this project and I also used an existing pair of shorts that I found were a little tad short as the base for this.
Back in June I shared a DIY Inspiration post on Matching Print on Print. I have been longing to pick one up at the store, but lucky for me while cleaning my closet for the big move (I swear, it’s like shopping in my own closet) I came across an old floral tube dress I purchased years ago at Urban Planet. The dress was a little wee tight for me across the chest and to be honest, I’m generally just not a huge fan of tube tops and dresses. My DIY sensors were turned on and I had the perfect plan to transform my tube dress into a two piece matching cropped top and skirt.
Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, mine was filled with good food, good wine, and a not so quick shopping trip across the border! I picked up some great treasures, everything was 50% off at BCBG!
Today’s DIY project was inspired by the Catbird’s gold knuckle ring. I love the simplicity of a single thin gold ring and of course when stacked with several others, creates an edgy yet girly look to any outfit (smitten by the way Jules worn them here).
