Just a quick hello and some inspiration for my (and maybe your) next DIY project. I’m loving the matchy-matchy print on print look lately. Something I hope to work on this week consist of reconstructing an existing floral dress into a two piece matching number.

Happy Friday lovelies! I am so happy to share this DIY Evil Eye Bracelet with you. It turned out fantastically and I’ve been wearing it everyday since I worked on it. This was so easy to do, inspired by a photo I saw on Instagram the other night. Since I made this, I started obsessing over Evil Eye jewelry and found this Evil Eye Ring Bracelet, how cute is that?!
If you can’t find the middle “eye” charm, feel free to use a circular shaped crystal charm to create the “eyeball”. It will have the same effect.
Hi there! Happy Monday! It’s finally feeling a little wee bit more like summer in Toronto. Thought I’d start your summer off with this super easy DIY project. Definitely a project that you can make use of and I bet you also have all the materials at home ready for it!
One of the most worn items in my closet during the summer are denim shorts. I’ve got them in all shades of blue and different hem lines. Originally I was inspired to make my own denim dress from this post a week ago. I had big plans to find a men’s denim shirt and transform it to a denim dress but no luck at the Thrift Shop over the weekend. However, I was able to find a pair of jean overalls instead (surprisingly also fit me like a glove) and decided to transform them into this season’s overall/shortall trend (see here and here).
I love wearing statement necklaces! Sometimes they can get a little bit pricey. Either that or I can’t find exactly the style or colour combination I’m looking for. Therefore I decided to try my own Gold Beaded version. It was fun, simple, and cost me less than $5.00!
DIY necklaces are so much fun! Give one a try sometime! Use other beads, colours and combine with other findings!
Looks like Mr. Wang’s Aline high strap leather caged heels (short version here) are pretty much sold out across the globe. Definitely a pair of heels that I would LOVE to have in my closet but let’s face it, from a practicality standpoint, I just won’t get much wear out of it. However, that doesn’t mean I haven’t thought about DIY-ing my own pair. I didn’t actually complete this project but hopefully this DIY inspiration idea will encourage you to try your own.
Happy Friday! I’ve been looking for inspiration lately for my next DIY projects. I have to say, I’ve been having a minor case of “DIY Block”. Not sure if it’s the gloomy weather that’s been making me feel very uninspired lately. However, finally getting the DIY groove back and totally looking forward to working on a denim dress number this weekend.
Totally loving the countless possibilities. I haven’t been back to the thrift shop since this project, I’m going to hunt down a few pre-loved denim pieces at the thrift shop this weekend and see what treasures I can transform. Wish me luck and I’ll be sure to share when I’m done!
