I fell in love with Oscar de la Renta’s Rose Necklace when I saw it on video from their Spring/Summer 2013 collection runway show last year (which is now available for sale). In addition, after seeing J.Crew’s Beaded Rose Necklace in their current Spring/Summer season, I just couldn’t resist but to try a version of my own.
DIY
Thought I’d inspire you on a weekend DIY project that is fun and edgy. I was shopping on SSENSE and came across this Alexander McQueen Dusty Rose and Gold Tassel Key Ring. I have a tiny obsession with skulls and also had a few left over from other past projects (see skull and studded shirt). So I thought I’d take a stab at re-creating my own. I am no Alexander McQueen of course and my version is certainly not made of gold, but I really liked the way it turned out and have attached in to my studded purse since.
I originally created this DIY Heart Stamped Ombre Shirt for Fashion Parkway. However, soon after this project went live. Fashion Parkway shut down, therefore, it’s unfortunate that I don’t have the original tutorial. The steps of this project is super easy, I’ve outlined it for you here. I hope they make sense even without the step by step photos!
Although I’m not a huge fan of early February, primarily due to the yucky weather, but I do have to say, one thing I love about this time of the year is the new introduction of Spring Collections everywhere. In a recent post, I picked out some of my favorite picks from J.Crew. A quick visit to the mall this weekend also got me loving H&M’s affordable Spring looks.
Another DIY project inspired by one of my favourites – Anthropologie (see my last Anthro inspired DIY Heart Print Jean project). I saw this Sparkling Strands Wrap Watch and I had to try it myself! I also liked the fact that I was able to refashion my old watch that I haven’t worn in years, a great way to update one you already have tucked away.
If you’re looking to get crafty today but don’t want to spend a ton of time on a DIY project, why not try this Express DIY project? This project takes less then 10 minutes to do and require very little instructions!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I thought I’d start the week off with this cute DIY to add to your closet. I stopped into Anthropolgie a few weeks ago and saw this pair of super cute heart printed jeans by AG Stevie. So I decided to try it myself.
