Hi! I managed to snap a few pictures just before sunset of my bridal shower outfit. My bridal party and sister threw me the perfect shower, I can’t wait to share more photos with you! Believe it or not, I purchased this lavender eyelash dress (sold out) back in February for my shower when I was visiting one of my favourite stores in New York, Necessary Clothing. Let’s just say, the moment I saw it on the rack, it was love at first sight. I love the delicacy of eyelash lace and have since acquired several other pieces (also wore this two piece crop top and scalloped lace skirt number for my Bachelorette party).

With the perfect dress, I was on the hunt for the perfect shoe and so glad I ended up with these Le Chateau leather lace up sandals. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, I mentioned that these were on my feet for nine hours long and I was still walking with no pain! Since becoming a Le Chateau Shoe Ambassador, it’s been my go-to place to find the perfect leather shoes. I got together with the lovely Marla of Trendstruck last weekend to shoot our April shoe pick as Shoe Ambassadors for Le Chateau. I had such a great time shooting with Marla and wish I had a buddy to shoot with all the time!

We both picked these buttery soft leather shooties from their LUXE collection and believe me if you haven’t perused through Le Chateau’s collection of shoes, you must! They have such a wide range (both styles and price points) of shoes, there ought to be one for you. Now, back to these peep toe shooties. I can’t begin to tell you how much I adore them. They simply make every outfit look rad (yes, I used the word RAD!). They are awesome with a tee and skinny jeans but equally awesome paired with a dress. Marla and I styled these slightly different, coincidently with contrasting colors – her in cool black, and I in soft creams.

Hello! A colourful post today to celebrate the amazing sunny days we’ve been experiencing in Toronto. I’ve been sporting dark colors all winter long to my workouts. To welcome Spring, I absolutely had pick up some new bright active wear.

I am totally obsessed with these Capri Painterly Capris ($69) from Bench Canada, they make me feel all kinds of unicorns and rainbows and certainly adds an extra dose of motivation to my workout routine. Alongside with these pants, I also added an extra pop of color with this Onetimer II ($119) windbreaker jacket also from Bench Canada. I’ve mentioned before in this post that I really love the way their clothing fits, I’m wearing an XS in both pieces.

I love Spring, not just because the days are getting brighter and longer, but it inspires me to introduce a lighter palette to my wardrobe and of course, trench coat! These three pieces – trench coat, mock neck dress, and ankle booties, all newly acquired are just the perfect match.

The slouchy light weight trench coat (a must-buy this season!) paired with a slim mock neck dress creates just the right amount of contrast and texture, while the longer midi hemline on the dress couples flawlessly with these Le Chateau ankle booties.

Earlier this month we celebrated the day of love! Valentine’s day that is. Though Kyle and I didn’t hit the town and decided to stay in to celebrate, I was still in the mood for something romantic, lacey, and sexy! For my February Le Chateau Shoe Ambassador pick, I found the perfect pair of shoes to fit the bill. These delicate lace and leather-like beauties were not only the perfect addition to my Valentine’s Day outfit but also a great add to my closet in general!

I tend to revert to classic pieces during the winter months. I find it so challenging to introduce colorful and fun pieces during these cold months. Therefore, it’s so essential to stock the closet with some high quality and simple pieces that can mix and match, such as a classic wool coat, and an abundance of knits and sweaters.

Just how awesome is this eyelash lace sweater dress from Forever21 I’m sporting (sadly, currently sold out)?! I do however like to add a few finishing touches with winter accessories and fine details where possible, just to keep things interesting.

I’m also thrilled to be one of Le Chateau‘s Shoe Ambassador for 2015! I decided to kick the new year off by selecting these Italian made short leather booties with an industrial chain detail as my January shoe pick of the month. I am absolutely obsessed with these buttery soft goodness and have been on repeat!

We had a delightfully mild Sunday this weekend which led me to leave my winter coat at home and sported this fleece lined hoodie from Bench instead. I particularly love the fit of Bench hoodies. They are very slim fit, which is both flattering and also keeps you warm as it sits snug on your body.

Bonjour! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I was vacationing in Boston last week and it was a super unforgettable trip! Kyle asked me to marry him during a romantic gondola ride. I was so surprised and it was a magical moment for us. I can’t wait to start planning our special day but we’ll take the rest of August to enjoy our time as a newly engaged couple, so exciting!

Now, back to this post! Last week, I shared some photos from my Shop for Jayu FW 2014 look book shoot. As promised, here are the remaining photos which by far are my most favourite. Since visiting Paris for the first time earlier this year, I have fallen in love with the Parisian culture. I put together this concept as how I imagine my perfect “day in Paris” to be. What can beat a day strolling through the Eiffel Tower with french macarons in hand sporting a beautiful outfit and a SUPER DUPER high top bun (thanks to the most talented Allison Kam)?!!!

For the life size DIY Eiffel Tower, I literally took a paint brush, some black paint and scribbled it on the back side of a roll wrapping paper. I loved the way it turned out, it totally pulled everything together. This would be a perfect addition to a Parisian themed bridal shower or party!
