Happy Friday friends! I rarely bake. However, I do make an exception during the holidays and absolutely love to greet my friends with a fresh batch of cookies and treats. Last weekend, I decided to put my (super cute) apron on and baked some fresh cupcakes for my girlfriends. A special thanks to the team at President’s Choice for making my bake day such a breeze. Instead of baking from scratch, I gave their Decadent Chocolate Cake Mix a try and let me tell you – I definitely fooled a few … an apology to my girls, they were actually made with cake mix!

I was introduced to Lint and Honey by a friend and instantly fell in love with their kitchen textiles. Our kitchen has never been my favourite room in our house (I had a vision for white marble and light cabinetry), therefore, I’ve always been on a hunt for super cute kitchen accessories. The quality and design of their tea towels and matching aprons to die for, and get what, their aprons are come with adjustable button straps – genius!

We had a delightfully mild Sunday this weekend which led me to leave my winter coat at home and sported this fleece lined hoodie from Bench instead. I particularly love the fit of Bench hoodies. I have a thing for embellished clothing. In my opinion, a jeweled sweater adds instant glam to any outfit and there’s also no need for added accessories. I’ve been meaning to jazz up a simple crew neck sweater and so glad to finally share this simple yet stunning DIY jeweled sweater with you. I picked up a super basic yet necessary Joe Fresh merino crew neck sweater ($49) and went to town on it by adding an assortment of sparkly blue crystals to the collar and arrow strips down the sleeves.
