There’s no denying that we’ll soon get our first snow fall (I’m sure some fellow neighbors further north have already been hit with their first). Brace yourself for the worsening weather but you can definitely continue stay dry and stylish with these simple tips for getting through those wet and wild days.

Hello! I hope you had a great weekend! I’ve been receiving a ton of great feedback on my “Style Tip” posts, therefore, I’ve added another on the list. Today. I will talk dresses. I love wearing dresses in the summer time, it’s hassle free to just throw on a one piece, not having to worry about what to wear on the top and what to wear on the bottom. It gets slightly tricky in the cooler months (especially if you’re living a country with cold winters!). Here are a few style tips to get you started to dress up in the fall.
TGIF! What do you have planned for this weekend? It is the weekend before Halloween, so I bet you’ve got something lined up. If you’re still looking for a costume idea, have a look at my DIY costumes from earlier this week.
I’m not sure if this is appropriate to say… but “buying a Celine bag” is definitely on my bucketlist. However, I’m sure many of you can agree, finding an extra chunk (a big chunk!) of cash in my back pocket to fulfill this item on my list is going to take a little bit of time, and the truth is, there’s a slim selection of these beauties in Toronto. Therefore, I decided to cheat for the time being and snagged this look-a-alike Trapeze style purse to satisfy my urge. I repeat: this is for the time being.
I love the Fall season. Sadly, Fall lasts for only a short couple of weeks in Toronto, at least it sure feels that way. There is only as teeny window of time where you can pair a skirt and boots without having to wear tights or throw on a long sleeve button up without having to layer on sweaters and jackets to keep warm. Therefore Fall is certainly a precious and fashionable time for me.
Last week, I talked about great office attire for the cooler seasons. Today, I want to spend time on … handbags! Handbags are a key essential in any wardrobe. Whether you’re a busy city exec, a full time Mom, a student or a blogger (we know how much us bloggers LOVE handbags), most of us ladies like to keep our purses, phones, make up and other essentials close to hand at all times. Once upon a time, the term handbag was limited to a particular style of bag with handles. Nowadays, however, it is an umbrella term encompassing a wider range of women’s bags. Here, I’ll take you through the essentials for Fall 2013.
I want to spend today talking about office attire. I work in a pretty casual work environment. Eight years ago, I thought that was amazing. The thought of wearing jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, etc. was awesome. However, in the recent years, I’ve actually come to ‘fancy’ up my work attire. There’s something magical about dolling up in the morning and strutting down the streets of Toronto. It makes me feel… ALIVE.
I love the idea of being able to customize my own goods (clearly!). Whether it is as simple as adding monogram to a piece if garment, getting your own t-shirts printed, or going as far as designing your own pair of shoes, there’s something so special about getting involved in the production process. It makes the final product that much more meaningful.
Hence I was so excited when I was introduced to May28th – an accessories brand that has a product called “INSTAWATCH” that allows you to design your own watch by uploading any photo or image from your computer or Instagram. I spent some time over the weekend trying their online watch platform and you probably imagine, I went a wee bit out of control! The options are endless and they’re only $44 a pop!
Hi hi! Just a quick hello today to share some of my recent additions to the Fall wardrobe. Writing this post made me realized that I’ve been gravitating towards basic pieces and simple colors like black, white, navy, and gray. Trust me, you can’t go wrong with staples and classics!
What have you been collecting in your closet lately?
Hi lovelies! Once again I’ve been slightly MIA, mainly due to the fact that I spent the whole week unpacking and furnishing the new home, even though I took the whole week off from work, somehow, I felt even busier than ever. Needless to say, the house is starting to come together and I can’t wait to share some photos with you and some of my home DIY projects on the list.
Fall is one of my favourite seasons. I love the rich colour fashion palette and I have to admit, I’ve already made quite a few Fall purchases.
Hello lovelies! I apologize for being so quiet the last week. I was in Boston for a conference and also packing for the big move this weekend. The condo-living era has finally come to an end and I’m super excited to move into our new house. I’ll be spending some more time on DIY home projects, so please make sure you follow along.
Although the weather in Toronto has heated up the past week and looks like it’s here to stay for a while, but with all the Fall previews I can’t help but to get ready of Fall. Here are a few items I picked up recently.
