Outfit :: Off-Shoulder and Fringes

by Natalie Ho 2016.07.27

We spent last weekend strolling through the streets of Yorkville after enjoying an incredible brunch at La Societe (all you can drink Cava, Caesars and Mimosas for $35!). I’m absolutely loving the heat wave that has bestowed upon us which has had me living in light weight tops and shorts majority of the time. I picked up this floral off-the-shoulder top ($20) from the annual ZARA sale and it’s been on heavy rotation. The floral print is a statement in itself but I managed to pair it with some fun  added details, such as these heart shaped sunglasses ($10) and fringed denim shorts ($26) to give this outfit some extra pop.

What makes me extra happy (aside from the 4 glasses of mimosas during brunch time) is that most of my outfit was purchased at a heavy discount! Oh, how I love a good sale!

Outfit :: Floral & Cage

by Natalie Ho 2016.07.21

For someone that’s worked in the financial and insurance industry for the last decade, I’m likely considered as someone that pushes the limits when it comes to dressing for the office compared to some of my colleagues. My love for fashion has always encouraged me to pull out my ripped jeans, leather vest, or sneakers for the office, even if I’m interviewing candidates or seeing clients! I know that I’m lucky to work for a company that likes to have a bit of fun and doesn’t correlate office wardrobe to professionalism.

For those of you who grew up in casual and flexible working environments like me, you’ve got nothing to worry about in terms of adhering to a strict dress code. But did you know for some of my peers in the same industry, they’ve mentioned that open toe shoes and even sandals are strictly prohibited in the office space accordingly to their companies’ dress code policy (like, OMG!). Here is a recent outfit I wore to the office and yes it consists of my recent favourite Caged Sandals gifted from my friends at SHOEme.

SHOEme and I wanted to show you some fun ways to break conventional rules, including sporting sandals to work!

Outfit :: Neutral and Dots

by Natalie Ho 2016.07.14

When it comes to dressing on the weekends, I prefer to go casual. Aside from the occasional date night or big night out with the ladies, I tend to wear flats or sneakers to give my feet a break from all the high heels during the week. There are so many fun sneaker options out there and news flash, they’re certainly not only made for sports and running. I was so thrilled when my dear friends at SHOEme invited me to partake in the “MadetoBeBroken” challenge. We can have a little fun and break some rules when it comes to fashion, right?

I paired these Native Polka Dot sneakers with a nude backless slip dress and my newly acquired BFF – Louis, for an unexpected look. Many of you likely won’t dare to pair casual sneakers with a dress, but this outfit presents an effortlessly chic appeal which I absolutely adore. Thoughts?!

I’m working on styling a few more looks for this campaign, are there any rules you’d like to see me break?! (Sock & Sandals?!)

Outfit :: Flirty & Floral Details

by Natalie Ho 2016.06.29

Outfit :: Military Chic

by Natalie Ho 2016.06.21

I love having a bit of fun and breaking rules when it comes to fashion. I can’t say that I’ve got a particular go-to style or preference in colours or prints when it comes to styling an outfit. I’d like to think of myself as someone that won’t be shy to try on a new trend or pair unusual items together. I typically make my outfit decisions on the fly when I get up in the morning, as it’ll honestly depend on my mood, the weather, and how much lead time I’ve got!

On this particular day,  I wanted to break the rules and wear joggers to the office. These pull up slim leg jogger pants with drawstring at the waist from I ♥ Tyler Madison (use code nh25 for 25% off) was just what I was looking for. They are overly comfortable and when worn with a romantic blouse and blush coloured draped vest, no one can barely tell they’re of a casual style.

Giveaway :: A Pair of Keds and More

by Natalie Ho 2016.06.17

Happy Friday friends! Last week, I shared a DIY tutorial on how to customize your own pair of Keds to gear up for the upcoming Summer season. A pair of classic white Keds can be paired with so many different outfits and when you put your own mark on them, they can really transform from an ordinary pair of sneakers to a spectacular addition to your wardrobe!

I paired mine with a casual off-the-shoulder dress and some favourite accessories, it was the perfect outfit (and comfortable one!) for a weekend stroll. As many of you know, nothing warms my heart more than to see YOU attempt one of my DIY projects.

Outfit :: On Top of the World

by Natalie Ho 2016.06.10

Happy Friday!! The beauty of having an office with a rooftop terrace is that you can take a break and enjoy a breath of fresh air despite a super busy day. We recently moved offices and it was incredible that we were able to find a building with an exclusive outdoor terrace space just for us! Every Friday, we all get together and enjoy a few casual drinks on the top floor. Ever since we started LOGiQ3, company culture was a priority. “Patio Fridays” were one of the first social events and I’m so proud to say that this informal employee gathering is still going strong after 10 years!

On busy days that require running from meeting to meeting, I prefer to keep my comfort level at bay. Luckily for our casual attire policy, I am able to put together an outfit such as this one. I love to mix feminine pieces with a slightly edgy look. Pairing this delicate floral dress with a double buckle belt and a simple leather strapped chunky heeled sandal is just the perfect combo.

Outfit :: The Colour Purple {and giveaway}

by Natalie Ho 2016.06.01

I stumbled across this spread of Spring lilacs on a casual stroll last week and couldn’t help but to stop and literally made Kyle snap these photos of me. I can’t believe I spent nearly $30 the other weekend on lilacs (and literally two stems of peonies) at a nearby florist when I could have (but probably shouldn’t) ‘borrow’ some from this yard of lilacs at the park!

The beauty of living in the Beaches neighborhood is that we have so many spots to explore on foot. As much as I love a good sandal sometimes they’re just not all that practical when it comes to long walks by the beach (I sound like I’m writing an online dating profile!). I was introduced to the GEOX Nebula line, designed to walk the world. Nebula features technology that ensures lightness and breathability, offering superior body temperature regulation, which means they’re suitable to wear without socks! I chose these multi-colour version instead of a neutral option because they add so much more fun to a casual weekend outfit!

I’ve also recently been obsessed with wearing longer length necklaces. I went through a phase of dainty stackables, but now, I’m really into longer lengths with larger pendants!

If you like the marble necklace I’m wearing below, keep reading for your chance to win a $60 e-gift card to Shop for Jayu!

Outfit :: Sparkly Mules and the Most Coveted Summer Shoes

by Natalie Ho 2016.05.25

I was asked to style an evening look for LE CHÂTEAU’s 2016 Spring/Summer Footwear Lookbook alongside with four other Toronto blogger babes a couple of weeks ago. I was charged to create a look that was a reflection of my own style. Most of you know that I spend most of my time at the office or travelling for business, therefore, it has always been important for me to find transitional outfits.

When it comes to a statement shoe, you definitely want to give it the spotlight that it deserves. I opted for a simple, yet classic sleeveless shirtdress with a playful cut that is office appropriate to accompany these sparkly mules which can be easily slipped on and off. It’s the perfect day to evening ensemble.

Read further to see how some of Toronto’s top fashion bloggers styled their look and this summer’s most coveted shoes from LE CHÂTEAU!

Outfit :: Sliding into Spring

by Natalie Ho 2016.05.10

I purchased this maxi dress weeks ago and haven’t had the chance to wear it, I was so glad when the weather finally cooperated over the last weekend! I love wearing maxi dresses because they can make a short girl (me) that much taller! This dress, as well as pretty much all my maxi dresses was about a foot longer when I first purchased it, therefore I took it to the seamstress to have her work a bit of her magic. Trust me, taking your most favourite items to get fitted is well worth it.
