Hello! I hope you had a great weekend! I’ve been receiving a ton of great feedback on my “Style Tip” posts, therefore, I’ve added another on the list. Today. I will talk dresses. I love wearing dresses in the summer time, it’s hassle free to just throw on a one piece, not having to worry about what to wear on the top and what to wear on the bottom. It gets slightly tricky in the cooler months (especially if you’re living a country with cold winters!). Here are a few style tips to get you started to dress up in the fall.

Last week, I talked about great office attire for the cooler seasons. Today, I want to spend time on … handbags! Handbags are a key essential in any wardrobe. Whether you’re a busy city exec, a full time Mom, a student or a blogger (we know how much us bloggers LOVE handbags), most of us ladies like to keep our purses, phones, make up and other essentials close to hand at all times. Once upon a time, the term handbag was limited to a particular style of bag with handles. Nowadays, however, it is an umbrella term encompassing a wider range of women’s bags. Here, I’ll take you through the essentials for Fall 2013.

I want to spend today talking about office attire. I work in a pretty casual work environment. Eight years ago, I thought that was amazing. The thought of wearing jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, etc. was awesome. However, in the recent years, I’ve actually come to ‘fancy’ up my work attire. There’s something magical about dolling up in the morning and strutting down the streets of Toronto. It makes me feel… ALIVE.

Summer is the prime time for weddings. I just came back from Chicago celebrating my dear friend, Ashley’s wedding at the Knickerbocker Hotel. It was a fantastic time and what a great excuse to get away for a few days and explore the windy city. All the weddings and engagements this year (and a little browsing on 77 Diamonds) got me thinking about all the different diamond shapes. There are so many different types! Each having it’s distinctive character, style, and let’s be honest, not every shape is for every lady.

I recently participated in a great LBD contest hosted by FAJO Magazine for VAWK and eBay Canada. All the ladies who entered the contest were stunning! Though I didn’t end up winning it got me thinking about the LBD some more.

There are certain items that every stylish woman needs in her wardrobe. Fashion followers and the world’s top designers often say that perhaps the ultimate key piece in any wardrobe is the Little Black Dress.

Hello! I apologize for being so quiet the last few days, I’ve been a little wee bit swamped. Just a quick hello to share some of J.Crew’s amazing pieces from their Fall/Holiday 2013 Lookbook. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’d know that I’m a huge J.Crew fan (especially during the sale season). I love everything about J.Crew, not only their individual pieces, but the amazing job they do with styling their pieces.

Just a quick hello today! I can finally say I believe summer is here to stay (at least for the next few weeks). We’ve been experiencing a mini heat wave for the last few days. Dressing for the heat can be a little bit tricky especially when you want to stay cool yet classy. Sharing with you a few of my summer must-haves this season:

Lately I’ve been inspired by golden tones. Perhaps it is due to the summer rays – giving me the natural golden touch. I love accessorizing with gold especially when summer attire seems to lean towards a more laid back and casual style. Adding gold makes any outfit feel more glamorous, rich and decadent. Of course if you go overboard, you may look like walking molten lava!

Thought I’d start the weekend off with this “What to Wear With” post around my most favourited DIY project of the year – DIY Heart Print Jean. While the weather is easing up in Toronto this weekend (it’s suppose to climb up into double digits!), I might exercise my right to wear winter whites. Typically I find it highly impractical to wear white bottoms in the slushy weather, but soft white on white combo’s are just too pretty to pass up.
