Truth, we are all creative people.

The dictionary definition of ‘creative’ is someone who has the power or desire to create. And to create, is simply bringing something into existence. If that’s the case, don’t you agree that both you and I are creative human beings? Too often, the term ‘creative’ is misinterpreted as being ‘artistic’ and unfortunately, this has hindered so many of us (and businesses) from designing and establishing new ideas and initiatives.

Gone are the days when I can function with just a few hours of sleep. I need at least a solid seven to eight hours of snooze (nine on the weekends please!), otherwise, I feel cranky, exhausted, and well, the brain just doesn’t operate at an optimal level. Consequently, pretty much nothing gets done.

Aside from getting enough shuteye time to increase productivity, there are also many other factors that determine whether I’m about to have a great night of rest or not. Personally, I can gulp an entire cup of coffee before bed and sleep like a baby, but when it comes to tea, forget about it, I’ll toss and turn for hours!

Hello world! I’ve been on a blogging break and so happy to be back today! I had originally planned to post last week but then got hit with a flu literally on the last day of 2016, I finally feel like myself again and ready to tackle the new year!

As I started to plan my 2017 blog goals list, I sifted through a bunch of stats and data to see what I should be focusing my efforts on. Naturally, I studied my Pinterest account to see what you guys loved most! I was so surprised to see that some of my posts have received tens of thousands of pins!

This is the last post before I sign off for the next few days. It was a crazy hectic but exciting past week, I’m sure most of you were just like me, running around, wrapping things up (no pun intended!). As you continue to tackle the fun-filled busy holiday festivities, remember to take some time off for yourself and reflect on all the amaziness you accomplished this year!

I can’t believe another year has flew by! Apologies for being MIA the last week, while I’d like to say I was indulging in oodles of holiday goodness, unfortunately I was hit with the flu and was home bound for days. Wishing hose of you that also caught the flu over the holidays to a speedy recovery!

A short post to reflect on what a fantastic year I had in 2014, so many memorable moments and I’m forever grateful to have a fabulous support system in my life. From magazine features, to TV appearances, to memorable vacations, to promotions, and being engaged, 2014 will certainly be a year hard to top!

As you’re reading this, I’ve just set foot in Paris a couple of hours ago! I am beyond excited to explore this romantic city. I can’t wait to explore the countless museums, cafes, gardens, and soak in all the Parisian culture. Being this my first trip to Paris, I’d really appreciate if you have any suggestions for me!

I no newbie when it comes to travelling as I’ve done countless business trips but travelling for leisure is just a different ball game! One of my goals during my short trip to Paris is to take some fantastic photos. I really didn’t want to lug my DSLR around with several lenses (and let’s face it there aren’t really that many cute and compact DSLR camera bags out there). I was so thrilled to find an alternative solution with Henry’s Rentals. I am taking along the Fuji X100S point and shoot camera with me c/o of Henry’s. I can’t tell you how excited I am to try this top of the line point and shoot!
