Ever since becoming an AVEENO® Ambassador, I’ve had the privilege to try so many fabulous products. From face care to body care products, there are an array of choices perfect for everyday use or to combat and treat specific skin concerns. Seeing that Christmas is literally around the corner (can’t believe we’re only a few more days away!), how great would it be to curate customized DIY beauty gift baskets packed with AVEENO® products for the special ladies in my life?

My mom is always keen on trying anti-aging skincare products. She pays close attention to the changing conditions of her skin as she ages and I’ve certainly taking notes from her over the years. Creating gift baskets is likely one of my favourite go-tos when it comes to holiday gift ideas. They are super easy to put together. Trust me when I say absolutely no creative skills are required! In my case, I thought Mom would appreciate a few fun beauty accessories which I know she would never treat herself to – a pink quartz facial roller, a glittery gel eye mask and a retro velvet hair scrunchie.
When it comes to packaging it, make sure you give yourself a few different options for the basket itself. Since I create plenty of DIY baskets throughout the year, whether it be Christmas or birthdays, I love collecting empty baskets and vessels throughout the year. They come in so handy! For this one, I found a small wooden box, which is just the perfect size for what I needed and dressed it up with a wide linen bow. There are so many unique ways to package a gift basket, so I urge you to be creative and think outside the box – sometimes the least expected item can become the best ‘container!’.
