It’s too bad I don’t have enough time this week to work on my own set of DIY Easter Eggs this year! I had about a gagillion ideas I wanted to put to use, but I guess I’ll have to set them aside again for next! I wanted to share some DIY decorative Easter egg inspiration with you from the party makers of Evite.
Decorating Easter eggs don’t have to only be a treat for the kiddies. Inviting a set of your girlfriend or fellow mommies over for a day of decorating before the Easter feast can be a great way to spend the holiday weekend.
Read further to see how you can create a few of these options: gold foil eggs / lace stamped eggs / nail polish swirl eggs / decorative natural eggs. Which one is your favourite?
Here a few how-to tips to create MOST stylish eggs (& see the gorgeous pics available here)
- Be a true artist by creating a marble design (you just need a few drops of your favorite nail polish) – use the same color as your manicure and snap some drool-worthy Instagram pics
- Go for a luxe-look by using gold foil as a finishing touch on your eggs
- Use glitter to make a sparkly masterpiece – a liquid adhesive will bring the shimmer to life
- Mix and match a variety of these gorgeous designs for a truly one-of-a-kind Easter centerpiece
I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday weekend!
