It’s that magical time of the year again when Nespresso launches it’s Limited Edition Festive Collection just in time for the holidays. This year, our taste buds are being transported to Paris!
In partnership with famous interior designer, India Mahdavi, Nespresso released Parisian Gourmandise, four Variations coffees and two espressos that are inspired by the sweet and rich flavours signature to Parisian cafes such as macaron pastries and the creamy and nutty taste of coconut, almond and praline! Through this collaboration India also designed a set of beautiful ceramic coffee drinkware that showcase her soft yet luxurious style.
I was particularly drawn to the beautiful ceramic drinkware designed by India through this collaboration. The frosty white colour and rounded shape reminded me fluffy soft marshmallows which of course led me to dress my coffee with oodles of them!
For this coconut whip marshmallow coffee, I recommend using the Variations Paris Exotic Macaron (brown capsule), which exhibits a delicate coconut flavour. Or, you can substitute with the Variations Paris Madeleine (pink capsule), which has a subtle taste of almond. Both coffees offer dynamic flavour profiles and at a mid-range intensity of 5 which make them ideal to enjoy as a coffee treat!
Instead of adding dairy, I opt to top with a dairy-free coconut whipped cream smothered with plenty of mini marshmallows and sprinkles of crunchy caramel bits! And if I had a blow torch, I would have totally fired it up that extra touch of deliciousness!
This coffee drink is such a treat and you can customize to your liking with different garnish and toppings!
