Whether it’s days in the office or working from home, I always prefer to jump start my day with a cup of coffee. I love the taste and aroma of coffee. For me, it’s an instant wake-up call and also helps with my productivity. Now, if you spend most of your days in the confines of your company office, you may not have a choice when it comes to brewing your own, and therefore, most of us defer to coffee shops for our daily dose. However, if you’re like me, and have the opportunity to work from home (at least a couple times a week), selecting the perfect coffee machine becomes that much more important!
Today, I’m excited to share the announcement of a new partnership. I’ve officially been coined as one of Nespresso‘s Coffee Connoisseurs! This means I will be sharing loads of fun coffee how-to’s, recipes, and exciting news from Nespresso over the next several months!
First on the list, I’d like to introduce you to the life-changing Evoluo coffee machine from the VertuoLine collection.
When many of us hear about Nespresso, we typically associate it with tiny cups of tasty espressos. I was over-the-moon when I heard that Nespresso launched their VertuoLine which brews large cups of Coffee with crema (think a stellar cup of Americano) AND Espressos without sacrificing the quality that Nespresso is known for. Now, I won’t guarantee that having a cup of coffee a day will help advance your career, but I will sure say that for you coffee lovers out there, this will be the best addition to your home office!
The Evoluo machine comes with many great features but my most favorable ones are the automatic OFF mode after 9 minutes of non-use, programmable cup sizes, and automatic volume control.
In terms of the Nespresso VertuoLine coffee capsules that are available, the selection is endless! You heard me mention ‘crema’ above, if you’re not excited by just hearing the word… let me give you some additional intel which separates the Coffee that is brewed from this machine compared to other home brewing systems on the market.
Crema, is the rich, generous foam that is naturally formed during the brewing process and the Evoluo machine offers this extra bit of umph due to it’s new Centrifusion™ technology. As you can see visibly in the photo below, the ‘crema’ generated from my first brew is like a piece of fine art – each cup is unique and beautiful!
I love enjoying my coffee with warm milk. I’ve always had the habit of warming up my milk in the microwave prior to adding it into my coffee. I’m also pleased that I am now a proud owner of the Aeroccino, a milk frother which not only hot and cold milk froth but also has the ability to warm up milk. I’m particularly stoked about experimenting with new recipes!
