Three days until Christmas!
I can’t believe Christmas is just around the corner. It’s going to be quite busy the next several days as we begin to embark numerous annual Christmas traditions from visiting relatives and friends to hosting a few parties of our own and finally ringing in the New Year in Quebec City. Finding a few moments of quiet time is tough during this time of the year, don’t you think?
Kyle and I started our own tradition a few years ago, where we would find one day prior to all the festivities to spend an evening in, celebrating our own version of Christmas by enjoying a great home cooked meal and opening our presents to each other. Tonight, happens to be our night!
We rarely sit at our dining table for dinner but for tonight’s special dinner for two, I decided to prepare a festive holiday table setting ahead of time thanks to Bed Bath & Beyond.
I was keen on selecting dinneware and flatware that would fit this festive occasion but also reusable for the future. Bed Bath & Beyond is definitely the ultimate one-stop shop, not only for the holidays but also for various entertaining needs. I love shopping both at the store and online because they carry an impressive array of great and unique items for dining, kitchen, bed, and bath.
I found and instantly swooned over the Everyday White® by Fitz and Floyd® Dinnerware Collection exclusively at Bed Bath & Beyond. The collection features glimmering gold accents highlighted with holiday cheerful messages such as “joy” and “thankful” and includes large to small serving and dinner plates with matching mugs and stemless wine glasses.
I paired the holiday glam plates with a natural finish by placing them on top of the Water Hyacinth Round Placemats. These placemats are incredibly affordable and certainly can be used all year round.
I’ve been contemplating for quite some time whether it was time to upgrade our set of boring silver flatware. It was meant to be when I stumbled upon this Moments Eternity Flatware Collection in Gold. They are the perfect blend of modern classic and crafted in 18/10 stainless steel which makes them long lasting and easy to clean. This collection can be purchased individually or as a 5 piece set which gave me the flexibility to build what I needed.
Since I have plans to concoct a few Christmas cocktails, I also brought these Copper Moscow Mule Mugs home to keep our drinks perfectly chilled.

I’m so looking forward to celebrating our own Christmas tonight and thanks to Bed Bath & Beyond, I think we’re all set for dinner. Do you have any fun and unique holiday traditions that you and your loved ones celebrate? I’d love to hear from you!
