Being someone that juggles between what feels to be not only one, but two full time jobs means having a functional home office is critical. The plan to remodel the office started late last year primarily because the existing space was getting out of control with the lack of smart storage solutions and the DIY desk combo that we built three years ago wasn’t doing it for us anymore. Plus, I somehow managed to turn “our” office into a mini beauty boutique and Kyle often felt a little too intimated by the room full of makeup, and truthfully it wasn’t all that welcoming to him.
I wanted to create a new space that had a multi-function purpose (we may or may not have also turned it into a part-time bedroom!), with plenty of storage solutions, and of course a design that would work for both Kyle and I. I was drawn to the teal and pink colour palette which I think works perfectly for a his and her office with additional touches of brushed gold and wooden details.
Here is a glimpse of our office remodel inspiration, and I can’t wait to share the final reveal with you in the next couple of weeks!
