I love watching Everett play. Like most babies his age, he marvels at every little detail and concentrates so much on how things work. He loves anything to do with cars. His first words (aside from ma-ma and da-da) was “CA-CA”. I’m not sure if this is due to that fact that Kyle has been watching F1 every weekend with Everett since he was a newborn (a-hem!) or he’s just developed his fascination for cars because of how big, fast, and loud they are. I know many babies and toddlers have this same adoration and thought it might be helpful to round up some of Everett’s favourite car themed toys and books just ahead of the holiday season!
I’ve linked them all below, hope you’ll find them useful!
Gift and Toy Ideas for Babies and Toddlers who Loves Cars
Everett owns most of the items I’ve featured on the gift guide below. Most of these keep him quite busy and we like many parents, will rotate several at a time. The Lovevery Block Set is a HUGE hit and it really offers Everett the ability to be creative in building towers and cars from the magnetic wheel pieces. I highly recommend it as it will grow with your child. He also adores the set of wooden car magnets (includes 35). We have these up on his magnetic easel board and he moves them around and holds them daily. Busy boards are also great if your child seems to take interest in how things work – great training ground for those future engineers!
To shop: 1. Pull back cars / 2. Assorted Wooden Cars / 3. Lovevery Block Set / 4. Yellow School Bus / 5. Roadway Block Set / 6. Busy Boards (here and here) / 7. Car Magnets / 8. Wooden Car Ramp (currently sold out but this is a great option) and Matching Cars / 9. Wooden Walker (on sale!) / 10. Car Themed Books (here, here) / 11. Ride-On Toys
