It’s been a dream of mine to open up a flower shop cafe. Though, it’s unlikely I can make that happen this lifetime, but I’m so thrilled to say that some talented friends of mine are living my dream! Last weekend, I visited my dear friend (and florist) Sarah of DeLight Floral + Design at her newest retail location within Arvo Coffee nestled in the beautiful Toronto Distillery District. Those of you who have been following along will know that I am a huge fan of Sarah’s work and she also designed all my floral arrangements at our wedding last year. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to enjoy a cup of coffee, I urge you to pay a visit!
I used to live in the Distillery District and have always adored the historic architecture and cobble stone, pedestrian only walkways in the neighborhood. Most people consider it as a tourist location, however I simply love spending time there. This outfit was inspired by Sarah’s floral design and well, I decided to pair the dress with comfortable and flat sole Espadrilles from shoeME.ca, fit for walking on cobble stone! An expected look, but hey, sometimes you have to push the limit and break the rules!
Wearing: Watercolor Floral Dress (on sale for under $40! also love this short version) c/o Shop Tobi / Espadrilles c/o shoeME.ca
Shop more of my favourite items from Tobi: Tank Tops, Casual Dresses, Long Sleeve Dresses, Club Dresses, White Dresses, Red Dresses, Skater Dresses
With Fall nearing, soak in the fresh cut flower season as much as you can! I know I’ll miss it!
