TGIF! It’s finally Friday, woo and hoo! I greet you today with a pretty blue outfit. I played dress up at home a little while ago as I was laying out a couple of outfit choices for an upcoming event. I’ve been looking for a skirt with a skater, flared out cut for some time now and quite happy with this dress option (worn as a skirt) that I found from Rosegal.
This dress is very slim at the waist and lined with several layers of crinoline, creating an extra girly, romantic feel – which I absolutely adore. I find that having a smaller frame, wearing a skirt/dress with this slim waist and flared out cut is very flattering and gives the illusion of more feminine curves. Since it’s still fairly chilly here, I also decided to transform the dress to a skirt by layering a thin sweater on top.
Kyle saw this dress and instantly reminded him of cos play (!!!) what do you think? I personally really like this dress and think it’s going to look gorgeous in the warmer months paired with a bright coloured shoe and clutch.
Pretty and Feminine or Halloween and Cos Play?
Wearing: Rosegal Blue Striped Dress ($24 and free shipping!, another option but different material) / Sweater (old) / My favourite Shoelery Shoe Clips / J.Crew Pumps
Rosegal offers a variety of ‘vintage’ and feminine style dresses, most of them are under $50 and free shipping. I suspect the items do ship from Asia, therefore they took about 3 weeks to arrive to my door step, but with no customs or taxes applied (phew!). I also received another dress which I’ll style and show you very soon! I honestly can’t get enough of my shoe clips btw, can’t wait until they come out with their new Spring/Summer collection.
Oh! I also booked my trip to Paris, I’ve never been, so any suggestions of what to see and what to eat would be much appreciated!!!
Have yourself a wonderful Friday and weekend!
