I LOVE living in the city. There is definitely no doubt that I am a city girl (Kyle’s dad is the first to remind me of it when I pitter patter into their home up north with my sky-high heels). The best thing about living in a busy city like Toronto is the abundance of “honey spots”. What is a “honey spot” you ask? A “honey spot” is a place where I can find tranquility, relaxation, peace, or pretty much just makes me feel like a happy girl all around.
Lately I’ve been inspired by golden tones. Perhaps it is due to the summer rays – giving me the natural golden touch. I love accessorizing with gold especially when summer attire seems to lean towards a more laid back and casual style. Adding gold makes any outfit feel more glamorous, rich and decadent. Of course if you go overboard, you may look like walking molten lava!
Summer is near! Being summer ready to me means getting that nice glow on my skin but nothing is more important than having silky smooth arms and legs to bare for my summer wardrobe (I couldn’t wait to sport this new skirt!). Being a DIY advocate, this not only applies to fashion, but also expands to all aspects of my personal life including beauty regimes. I love exploring new at-home products that promise to provide salon results.
